CalkHub was built out of frustration with existing calculator websites — cluttered with ads, slow to load, hard to read on mobile, and often inaccurate. Our mission is simple: provide every person on the internet with fast, accurate, free calculator tools that respect their time and privacy.

Every calculator on CalkHub uses verified, peer-reviewed mathematical formulas. We clearly state which formula is used, show the working, and explain any limitations — so you understand your results, not just receive a number.

CalkHub was born out of frustration with the existing landscape of calculator websites — slow, ad-heavy, privacy-invasive, and often inaccurate. We set out to build something genuinely different: a platform that loads instantly, respects your privacy, and never compromises on accuracy.

Today, CalkHub hosts a growing library of calculators spanning health, finance, science, and everyday mathematics — all free, all private, and all built with care.

CalkHub was created and is maintained by a web developer with a passion for clean, functional tools. The site was built from scratch — no WordPress, no page builders, no calculator plugin shortcuts — with a custom PHP/MariaDB architecture optimised for speed and accuracy.

Why we built it: After spending years searching for a reliable BMI calculator that wasn't buried in pop-ups, a mortgage calculator that actually explained PMI, or a unit converter that worked offline — we decided to build the calculator hub we always wanted.

Every formula is researched before implementation. Every tool is tested against known reference values. When we're uncertain about a result, we add a disclaimer — we would rather be honest about limitations than give you false confidence.

Mathematical accuracy is our highest priority. Here is how we ensure it:

• Verified Formulas: All formulas are sourced from peer-reviewed publications, recognised standards bodies (NIST, WHO, etc.), or established financial conventions.
• Transparent Working: Each tool page shows which formula is used and how the calculation works — not just the answer.
• Regular Review: Tools are reviewed and updated when standards change (e.g., updated BMI guidelines, interest rate changes).
• Clear Limitations: Where a formula has known limitations (e.g., BMI for athletes), we state them explicitly.

Your privacy is a founding principle, not an afterthought. When you use our calculators, your inputs never leave your device. Every calculation runs entirely in your browser — nothing is sent to our servers, nothing is stored, nothing is analysed.

CalkHub is currently ad-free. We collect only minimal analytics data (page views and session metadata) using our own lightweight, self-hosted system. No personally identifiable information is stored, and no data is ever shared with advertising networks.
